NEW YORK — April 22, 2025: Altana, the world’s only product network, is pleased to announce that logistics provider Scarbrough Global has chosen the company to provide its customers with unparalleled visibility up and down their product value chains, AI-driven decision support, and collaborative workflows to detect and manage compliance risk from a single source of truth.
The partnership with Altana will enable Scarbrough’s clients to vet new and existing suppliers and products and automatically screen shipments up and down their value chains against every compliance requirement, from forced labor to sanctions and export controls.
Chief among the issues facing Scarbrough’s customers is the need to screen shipments and products for connections to Chinese forced labor, in compliance with the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA). Altana delivers more than twice the supply chain visibility of any other provider by applying AI to its vast network of public and private sector data, the largest body of supply chain data in the world. That enables Scarbrough’s clients to identify risks and potential value chain disruptions before they become a problem.
"We are proud to partner with leading technology platforms like Altana to help increase efficiency for our clients and our employees."

In January, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) raised the compliance stakes for U.S. importers, adding 37 new entities in Asia to the UFLPA Entity List. Altana’s analysis of the world’s largest repository of global supply chain data reveals that more than 18,000 companies across the world, including more than 2,000 in the U.S., are exposed to the new entities in their supply chains. Two-thirds of U.S. companies affected by recent entity listings are in the retail and apparel sectors.
“At Scarbrough, we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of cutting-edge technology to help our clients streamline and protect their supply chains,” said Scarbrough Chief Executive Officer Adam Hill. “We are proud to partner with leading technology platforms like Altana to help increase efficiency for our clients and our employees.”
“Scarbrough is boldly transforming traditional logistics services into a strategic platform for comprehensive compliance management,” said Amy Morgan, Vice President of Trade Compliance at Altana. “Our collaboration enhances their clients' ability to not only understand their compliance risks but to actively prepare for increasing enforcement action."
