Altana Technologies, Inc. ("Altana", "we”, "us", “our”) respects your concerns about privacy. This Privacy Notice (“Privacy Notice” or “Notice”) explains how we collect, use, share, retain and protect personal information collected about our customers, website visitors, job applications, business partners and individuals whose personal data is made available to us, including in our website, ‘Trust Center’, security clearance platforms, or other platforms we may introduce in the future. 1. - Account information for Altana ‘Trust Center’, including account name, account login credentials, account preferences and other information used to create an account with us or understand your interactions with your account.
- Professional information, including your job title, company name, industry, professional affiliations and background, LinkedIn profile and work history.
- Information you share when you apply for a job opening including information such as whether you are authorized to work in the relevant jurisdiction; whether you hold a security clearance, when holding the appropriate clearance is required to fulfill your future role with us; answers to specific questions about the job (e.g., your motivation, skills, experience, and interest in the role); and any information contained in the resume/CV you upload (e.g., address, contact information, education, work experience, references, hobbies, and so forth) or that you voluntarily share with us in the context of your application (including any sensitive personal information). To the extent travel is necessary to perform a candidate interview(s), the candidate will be reimbursed by Altana, and candidate banking information will be retained to facilitate reimbursement for such travel.
- Device information, as described in the Automated Data Collection section below.
- Other information you provide in communications and interactions with us, including any information you submit through our website and other platforms, or other interactions with us, such as through forms, surveys, registrations, comments, emails, and video or call recordings.
We may collect this information when you use our website and other platforms, or otherwise interact with us (for example, call or email us). In some cases, we also may obtain your personal information from other parties, such as from your references or our vendors (including background checks service providers), business partners or other third parties with whom we work. In addition, we may obtain other personal information about you from publicly available sources or in ways that we describe at the time of collection.
Automated Data Collection

3. With Whom We Share Personal Information

- Within Altana such as with our subsidiaries and affiliates for the purposes described in this Notice.
- Customers who use our platform or other products or services.
- Our service providers and business partners, including vendors and other entities who perform services for us, such database management, site maintenance, analytics, marketing, and customer relationship management, or recruitment;

If you have registered for an account for Altana’s ‘Trust Center’, you may provide us with certain information by logging on to your account.
Our promotional emails contain a link at the bottom of the promotion that will allow you to unsubscribe from such emails by Altana.
In addition, applicable law may define certain rights that you have with respect to your personal information, such as the right to access, rectify, delete, object to, or restrict the processing of personal information (including sensitive personal information, as applicable), or to opt out of the use of your personal information for certain purposes. Altana is a U.S.-based company with its principal place of business in Brooklyn, New York, USA. We may transfer your personal information to the United States or other countries where we do business or where data recipients identified in the ‘With Whom We Share Personal Information’ section above are located. We do so for the purposes described in this Notice, including to satisfy our legal or business obligations under the laws of those foreign jurisdictions. Those countries may not have the same data protection laws as the country in which you initially provided the personal information.
