Prior to Altana, Evan served as a founder, investor, and leader in supply chain, clean technology, and renewable energy businesses.

Peter Swartz leads the application of modern AI at Altana. He is motivated by complex systems analysis and decision support across global scale datasets to facilitate public and private sector operation in a turbulent world. Peter has spoken on global trade and machine learning at the World Trade Organization, World Customs Organization, US Court of International Trade, and other leading industry events, and holds a number of patents in machine learning and global trade. Previously, Peter was Head of Data Science at Panjiva.

Raph co-founded Altana after failing and succeeding to build several clean technology, market intelligence, and supply chain businesses. He has dedicated his career to catalyzing a more sustainable, resilient, and secure commerce – and believes supply chains are a massive lever for global impact. At Altana, he leads, integrates, and works across all aspects of the business to advance our strategy and mission. He draws on broad experience investing, advising, and operating across stages and markets including energy, agriculture, transportation, and financial services.

Aaron Libbey oversees Growth at Altana, where he previously led sales and partnerships. Prior to Altana, Aaron spent four years at Palantir leading a variety of public and private sector business development initiatives. Prior to Palantir, Aaron was an M&A attorney at Paul Weiss in New York. Earlier in his career, Aaron founded Adage, a geothermal power plant developer, and worked in Africa for the Clinton Foundation.

Katherine Paglia oversees Altana’s financial health, building and collaborating with all parts of the business to enable efficient growth. Her responsibilities also include leading Altana’s people team, fostering a culture of inclusivity where our employees can do their best work. With various experiences scaling start-ups and finance functions to support growth from both public and private companies, Katherine’s expertise in strategy, data, metrics and policy pulls from her time at EMC, Dell Technologies, and Cybereason.

Ian Cadieu leads the technology, data, and engineering teams at Altana, utilizing technology to push the boundaries of what is possible for our customers via ML, software and data. He previously spent 15 years at asset management firm Bridgewater Associates starting as a developer and eventually leading the trading technology department where he was responsible for all order management, position keeping, execution risk and algorithmic trading strategies and market connectivity.

John Capaldi serves as Altana’s Chief Revenue Officer, where he leads the global go-to-market sales strategy. With more than 25 years of experience in the enterprise technology industry, John has held leadership roles at both public and private hyper-growth companies. He most recently served as CRO at Zip, where he led the go-to-market function.

Amy Morgan leads Altana’s global trade and compliance solutions for the enterprise and public sector alike. Amy is a Licensed US Customs Broker with over two decades of experience working in international trade and compliance. Prior to Altana, Amy created Avalara’s cross-border business unit, and has managed global trade and customs compliance operations for Amazon, Costco Wholesale, Nordstrom, and Microsoft.

Claire Cook is the Vice President of Brand and Communications, responsible for expanding Altana's brand and category leadership. She draws on a diverse, 15-year career in marketing across the B2B, non-profit, and entertainment sectors, with roles at Atlassian, Girls Who Code, and Columbia Records. Motivated by tackling complex, world-scale challenges, Claire holds an Executive MBA in Sustainability from Yale School of Management.

Spencer McCollester leads Altana's global private sector business. Prior to Altana, Spencer spent nine years on Palantir's leadership team building and scaling the commercial business. Previously, Spencer was a portfolio manager in high frequency trading at Goldman Sachs. Spencer is an experienced go-to-market leader, operator, and investor in early stage software companies. He is passionate about using software as a force multiplier to powers the world's most important institutions.
