Altana for Customs Brokerage
With massive shifts in trade policy and tighter enforcement, the customs broker job has become harder than ever. Altana's agentic customs workflow gives your team the tools to write every entry, prove every determination, and grow without adding headcount.
5x Entry output per writer
8x Faster HS classification
$40,000+ Productivity gained per customs broker
The only platform that combines intelligent compliance reasoning with entry writing
Classification and automated duty calculation on every line, returned with the GRIs and CROSS rulings behind each call. New products get classified inside the workflow, and brokers are supported through the new Foreign Importer requirements.
Altana's AI reads the packet and drafts the import declaration. PGAs, 232s, and classifications are filled automatically.
Shared source of truth
The Altana product catalog is your definitive system of record for every product and its parts. Importers share their master data through Product Passports, which automatically enriches your catalog with every filing. Brokers can also share their compliance determinations with customers for review and approval. This centralized intelligence ensures every determination—from HS codes and duty treatments to PGA requirements—is consistent, audit-ready, and powered by 24/7 AI compliance monitoring.
How it works
AI reads the packet and drafts the entry in minutes, with a confidence score on every field.
Known products carry forward from your catalog. AI classifies, calculates duties, flags exclusions, and fills PGAs for new products. Gaps go back as a request to the importer.
Each importer's SOPs run automatically, including the account-specific exceptions that live in someone's head, so they apply on every entry.
AI checks every line for forced labor, origin, classification, and valuation risk, explaining each flag. Documents are reconciled against each other before submission.
Your team reviews the AI-compiled entry, approves it, and files it in CargoWise, NetCHB, or the ABI system you already use.
Confirm compliance decisions with your customer and provide completed records instantly.

Benefits
SOPs live on the platform, applied on every entry, so a writer who has never touched the account can work it correctly.
One writer clears 5x the entries they do today.
Every HS code, duty call, and approval carries its reasoning and audit trail. CF-28s get answered from the record, not reconstructed from memory.
A shared product record makes you their compliance infrastructure, not just their filer.
The network advantage
The same AI that determines compliance attributes carries through to the filing itself. Classification, duty determination, and the entry all draw on one connected source of truth: the network CBP selected, used by thousands of officers daily and covering roughly half of global trade. With Altana, you can pre-validate products with CBP before they ship. Global Entry, but for goods.
See how Altana writes and checks every entry, then hands it to your team to file.
