NEW YORK, NY – February 9, 2026 – Altana, the network for trusted trade, today announced it has received Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) High authorization for its AI-powered product network on Amazon Web Services (AWS) GovCloud. This significant achievement authorizes Altana for use in federal networks at the High impact level, enabling government agencies to deploy Altana with the assurance that it meets the stringent security and risk management requirements necessary to handle the U.S. government's most sensitive, unclassified data.
"The attainment of FedRAMP High authorization signifies Altana’s deep commitment to trust and security," said Evan Smith, CEO of Altana. "This further solidifies Altana's reliability for deep-tier supply chain illumination, assurance, and government-industry collaboration, providing the foundation for data-driven resilience in global trade, economic security, and defense acquisition and sustainment."
With FedRAMP High authorization, Altana can expand its support for federal customers across civilian, defense, and intelligence missions, including those requiring secure collaboration with industry partners.
Enforcement agencies, including U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), use Altana to detect and prioritize high-risk shipments, and collaborate directly with importers to pre-validate shipments using Product Passports. This approach improves enforcement efficiency, reduces congestion at the border, and accelerates lawful trade.
Defense agencies, including the U.S. Space Force, use Altana to collaborate with the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) to accelerate acquisition timelines, strengthen supplier due diligence, and stress-test supply networks against disruption scenarios.
Intelligence and national security stakeholders use Altana to analyze complex global supply chains, disrupt narcotics trafficking networks, and prevent sensitive technologies from reaching adversaries.
